Girls Feeder Basketball Tryouts

Designed for girls in 5th-8th grade who reside within Mundelein High School District 120 boundaries, this high school preparation program provides players with the opportunity to participate in a competitive basketball league, while continuing to learn basketball skills. The feeder program (Lady Mustangs) teaches girls how to develop and refine those basic skills while learning the primary offensive and defensive scheme of the high school. Player eligibility is based on high school attendance boundaries: players must live within the boundaries of the high school in order to tryout for the feeder team.
This program differs from our other programs by having team selection through tryouts and is a competitive level of practice and games. A solid commitment from parents and players with both the practice and game schedule is necessary. Season runs November through
mid-March, with 2 practices a week, 12-15 league games and 3-4 tournaments. Any questions, please contact Aaron Smith (president of feeder advisory board) at or Scott Schleiden at
4th Grade players may try out for the 5th grade team.
The league fee is $500 if your child makes the team, plus a uniform fee of $100 if your child needs one.
