Yoga for Healthy Bones (Ages 40+)
Osteoporosis is a disease characterized by low bone mass, leading to bone fragility and often to fractures. Yoga can stimulate the formation of bone and help increase bone mass leading to better posture, improved balance, increased strength, and coordination. In this workshop, we’ll explore some of the best yoga poses for bone strength, and how to do them safely and easily. All levels and abilities are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat. All other yoga props with be provided. Led by Sharon Gaughan, MS, ERYT.
