Q. Am I a Park District Resident?
A. The easiest method is to look at our district map on this website. The map does not go down to address or street level detail, but it will help many people quickly determine whether their home location is within the Mundelein Park and Recreation District boundaries. Single family homes and apartment and condominium units that fall within these borders are eligible for Park District resident rates. The most conclusive method to determine residency is to examine your Lake County Property Tax Bill. If that statement shows that you are paying taxes to Mundelein Park and Recreation District then you are a resident of the district. The park district advises that you take your Property Tax Statement with you when you need to identify yourself as a resident of the park district for example when enrolling in a program or purchasing a membership for the first time.
