Mundelein Parks Foundation
The Mundelein Parks Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization governed by an independent voluntary board. It was formed in 2005 as staff became aware of an increased need for program scholarships for the residents of Mundelein.
The Mundelein Parks Foundation seeks to strengthen community and family ties with a self-generating funding source to finance recreational scholarships to the disadvantaged of the Mundelein community. The recreational scholarships will help furnish hard-working, financially limited residents with the same recreational and leisure opportunities as their neighbors. Monies are raised through tax deductible donations and special events. Do you need financial assistance? To learn more about eligibility for financial assistance, visit the Financial Aid webpage.

The genesis of this book by Marketing Manager, Christa Lawrence was to provide parents with a video on social media explaining why children needed to wear a mask and to better understand the changes that Covid-19 has brought to our lives. Later we decided to turn it into a book to help the Mundelein Parks Foundation. Copies can be purchased at the Community Center or online at Amazon.com. All proceeds benefit the Mundelein Parks Foundation!
