Dawn Blough

Dawn found her love for fitness in her own weight loss journey. At the time she was the mother of two young boys, (both now grown and on their own,) and had “lost herself”. By going to the gym to exercise she found time for herself and learned to let go of stress from the day. Dawn has worked for Park View Health and Fitness since the first day it opened in 1997. In 1999 she had become a Personal Trainer. Dawn teaches Aqua aerobics/Aqua R.O.M., Indoor Cycle, Group Training, Boot-camp and a Cycle and Strength classes. Through her own experience as a swimmer and as an aqua instructor she has become a big believer in the benefits of water exercise believing it is for ALL ages and ALL fitness levels.

Kwame Dupre

Kwame is a former fencing coach and competitor (Sabre & Epee), former mixed-martial arts instructor, former self-defense Instructor, Shotokan Karate Sensei, former pistol shooting instructor, Special Olympics basketball coach, golf fitness instructor, avid sea kayaker, kayak builder and woodworker. “I thrive on helping clients reach their fitness goals, by designing programs that are both challenging, achievable and fun! I’m easy to recognize, not because of my dreadlocks, but because of my smile! I am currently training for the UIPM World Masters Championship Individual Modern Tetrathlon. Curious? Cody Gokan

Cody’s training philosophy can best be described by the quote “embrace the grind. ” This means to take pride in the process of reaching your goals. Cody has been around athletics all his life playing football, basketball, and baseball. He was an all-conference football player at Mundelein High School as well as at Valparaiso University. At Valpo he studied Kinesiology and has recently returned to MHS as an assistant football coach. Cody is a former sports performance coach at Tommy Z ’s Pure Speed. He received his ACE Personal Training Certification last April. He enjoys working with athletes and former athletes but is willing to work with anyone looking to reach their fitness goals.

Joanna Joblanska

Since 2014 Joanna has been working as a personal and small group trainer, but her interest in health and wellness is a longtime passion. Born and raised in Poland, Joanna offers a worldly perspective to her training. She believes in a holistic approach to wellness; physical activity playing a significant role. Her experience in the field also includes a residency at the College of Lake County as well as working with private clients of various ages, teens through senior citizens. Joanna does not follow the “all or nothing” principle. Every day is a new beginning, making new choices regardless of our actions of yesterday.


April Lohr

April has been a part of the fitness industry for over 13 years. She has worked at Park View as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer for 10 years and a Boot Camp instructor for 5 years. April understands the struggle to balance a healthy lifestyle, family, and demanding career. She believes that exercise creates a state of equilibrium between the mind and body which leads to a balanced and healthy lifestyle. She works equally well with both beginners or seasoned athletes looking to refresh their fitness routines.


Maggie Milton

Maggie began her fitness career here at Park View teaching group fitness and water aerobic classes in 2001. She is certified in Pilates, group fitness, and personal training. As a mother of three, she can relate to the trials of weight loss and as a long time sufferer of psoriatic arthritis, Maggie understands the importance of physical conditioning to promote joint stability and functional movement. She believes that fitness through exercise is crucial to prevent, prepare or recover from physical ailments or weight issues.


Brian Rejman

Brian’s journey into the health and wellness field began in 2012 when he decided to make a career change. He has always had an interest in physical training after being an athlete for most of his life, training in soccer, swimming, water polo, and track & field. Brian decided that he wanted to change careers into the health and fitness industry during his own weight loss journey, losing over 40 pounds with proper nutrition and exercise. Brian understands the hurdles that one can be faced with when making needed lifestyle improvements having been through them himself. Using his skills and training as a Wellness Coach, Brian finds clever, fun and helpful ways to motivate individuals to reach their potential and create healthy sustained changes in their lives. Brian lives by the quote “If you really want to do something, you will find a way; if you don’t, you will find an excuse.”


Judy Sneyd

Judy has been working in the fitness industry since 1997. She has taught classes and trained in the local area as well as along the North Shore with experience in group cycling, strength, Pilates, and flexibility training. She has experience working with general fitness, prenatal/postnatal, post-rehab, adolescents and senior citizens. Judy believes that exercise is best when it is a scheduled into your week. Consistency and accountability are the keys to your fitness goal. Judy ’s mission is to help clients feel comfortable with their fitness programs and hopefully walk away with the feeling that exercise can be fun!
