Virtual Classes for Kids

Online Magic Class with Gary Kantor (Ages 5–12)Professional magician Gary Kantor now teaches his popular magic class ONLINE. This 45-minute online class teaches children how to perform a number of mind-boggling tricks using everyday household items. Gary will start by explaining the secrets to the tricks, and then both Gary and the children will practice everything in great detail. The children will have a blast as they learn exactly what to say and do when performing in front of an audience. And since this class is online, it can be taken whenever it is convenient for your schedule. And the videos can be watched again and again. Your entire family can even take this class together! Additionally, be sure to sign up for this class again since new tricks are taught each session. Ballerina Princess (Ages 3.5–5)Come dance like a princess while learning basic ballet skills. Dancers can wear ballet attire or their favorite princess dress. iCook @ Home (Ages 5–11)Join us for hours of fun with or virtual, hands-on Live Cooking Classes. iCook is a really fun, hands-on after-school cooking program for children. Our mission is simple: to help teach children to love everything about food –cooking, eating delicious and healthful dishes, learning about different cultures and stories behind the food. We make every experience special because we start with great recipes and fresh ingredients, and engaging activities. Our chefs-in-training will learn how to make a variety of healthy, delicious and fun recipes. We will learn about herbs and spices and how they add flavor and aroma to the dishes. Our little chefs will “travel” around the world and learn about food and culture of some of the most exotic countries. We will master cooking safety, slicing, dicing, chopping, folding, baking, zesting, mixing and more. Intro to Python (Ages 7–14)Learn how to code in this popular computer language. No prior experience is required for this interactive class. Students learn how to code fun programs by following easy step by step instructions. Virtual Chess Wizards (Ages 6–12)Are your kids itching for something new to do during these nationwide school closings? Or are they feeling bummed because it’s been such a long time since their last Chess Wizards class? One thing’s for sure our Chess Wizards still want to teach, and are so excited to be teaching our curriculum online!
